More than 750 students, parents, and school representatives showed up to learn more about pre-college opportunities at Rutgers

 

New Brunswick, New Jersey, January 25, 2018—Rutgers University–New Brunswick Office of Enrollment Management, in partnership with the Rutgers–New Brunswick Office of Summer and Winter Sessions, held the first K-12 Pre-College Opportunities Fair on January 20, 2018 at the Rutgers Student Center in New Brunswick, NJ. More than 750 participants from throughout the state attended the free event.

 

The fair provided an opportunity for individuals to engage with staff from a wide range of Rutgers pre-college programs, and learn about university-wide options available to K-12 students throughout the calendar year. Representatives from close to twenty different programs converged at the event.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–Better known by his pen name, Lemony Snicket, Daniel Handler has sold more than 70 million books which have been translated into 40 languages. His popular volumes of children’s books, A Series of Unfortunate Events, has been adapted as both a film and Netflix original series. Mr. Handler has continued to publish novels for adults under his real name.

 

Fans will get the chance to interact with the author at a special Rutgers–New Brunswick author talk, An Evening with Daniel Handler. The public event will be held at the Rutgers University–New Brunswick College Avenue Student Center on January 13, 2018 at 7:00 pm. Mr. Handler will speak on “Lemony Snicket’s Bewildering Circumstances” and respond to audience questions. There will also be a book signing and reception.
