Rutgers Connects Unemployed with Workforce Development Grants for Training

Image of a woman in a computer lab

Noncredit, continuing education programs at Rutgers can help open the door to new careers and opportunities for unemployed individuals who qualify for Workforce Development Grants. Currently, hundreds of Rutgers training programs are eligible for tuition grants through the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Many Rutgers programs also accept workforce grants from other states for non-New Jersey residents.

Rutgers works with New Jersey One-Stop Career Centers across the state to assist unemployed workers in identifying appropriate training programs eligible for tuition assistance.
