The Rutgers Professional Science Master’s Program, in collaboration with the New Jersey Technology Council, co-sponsored the Entrepreneur Bootcamp on April 23, 2013 at the Busch Campus Student Center.  The intensive day long conference is a "must attend" program for early stage entrepreneurs, individuals seeking to start a technology company, pharmaceutical and IT professionals contemplating a transition. Current PSM students and alumni participated in the program.

Brian Donohue, Co-Founder and Lead Developer of Echolocation  provided the keynote address at the April Bootcamp.  Brian followed by a distinguished panel of speakers who addressed topics for entrepreneurs and those looking for a career transition. Bootcamp participants had the opportunity to speak to a support network of service providers and “thought leaders” with expertise in various fields during the ‘unConference” part of the program. Speakers represented a range of industries including technology, public administration, banking, and pharmaceuticals. All participants received an Entrepreneur Toolkit at the conference.

The PSM degree (MBS) is part of a national movement of Professional Science Master’s programs that brings together master’s level study in science or engineering with “plus” courses in business and policy. Rutgers is the only university in New Jersey that offers a statewide Master of Business and Science degree, and enjoys an unprecedented number and level of partnerships at all three Rutgers regional campuses in Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick.
