Rutgers School of Business-Camden Earns Prestigious Award for Executive Education Program

Joseph Amabile, power systems sales and rental manager for Foley, Inc., the Piscataway-based Caterpillar dealership, participated in the management training program developed by Rutgers-School of Business-Camden Executive Education in partnership with Caterpillar. The school has been recognized by Chief Learning Officer Magazine for its work with Caterpillar.

Executive Education Slates Networking Breakfast and Course

Managerial professionals interested in learning new strategies for developing a high performing workforce in their organizations are invited to attend a networking breakfast and seminar hosted by Executive Education at Rutgers School of Business—Camden.  The event will take place at the Holiday Inn in the Pureland Industrial Park in Swedesboro from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Thursday, October 4

A half hour for networking and breakfast will be followed by a two-hour, content-rich preview of The 7.5 Key Strategies for Being an Effective Supervisor, a new two-day course that will be offered by Executive Education at the Enterprise Center at Burlington County College in Mount Laurel, December 4-5, as part of its corporate training programming.

The seminar will explore best practices in supervision, including insight into personal supervisory styles, accomplishing goals through others, and building a high performing team.

Executive Education at Rutgers School of Business—Camden has added several new continuing education courses focusing on leadership and management skills for supervisors and executives for the 2012 to 2013 academic year.

Maximizing Your Leadership DNA is an intensive 3-day leadership training program that begins with a leadership kick-off dinner to allow senior leaders, key decision makers, business owners, and other executive-level individuals to interact in a casual setting. The coursefocuses onself-awareness exploration, application and practice situations, and case examples to help participants master the competencies of effective executive leadership. It will help participants to look at the big picture, build strong teams, and maintain effective communications while maintaining the agility and poise of the world’s most successful leaders.
