Rutgers Gardens Wins Environmental Stewardship Award

The Rutgers Gardens, a self-sustaining botanical garden on the New Brunswick campus, has won the 2012 New Jersey Turfgrass Association Environmental Stewardship Award, in recognition of its “ongoing environmental preservation and conservation commitments through the act of education.” The association, whose mission is to promote the turfgrass industry in the state, honors “a person or organization in recognition of a continuing commitment to environmental preservation and conservation.” Read more.
