Mid-Management Development Program Begins This Fall
Rutgers Center for Management Development (Rutgers CMD) will launch a new leadership program this fall for managers.
The Mid-Management Development Program is a high-level, results-centered program for managers with three to five years of experience. It is designed to enhance their strengths and performance. Participants will gain the solid framework needed to make better decisions affecting both their companies and their careers. The program is taught by prominent Rutgers faculty and experts within their respective fields.
“It is critical that today’s middle- to senior-level managers possess a strong foundation in both core business functions and behavioral skills,” said Peggy J. Grant, director, Leadership & Management programs. “This program is unique in covering both areas and exploring key topics such as supply chain management, innovation, and global business.”
The fall program format comprises two, four-day sessions (eight days total) and will be held October 2-5 and November 27-30. Participants are required to attend all eight days in order to earn a certificate.
For those who are currently unemployed, the Mid-Management Development program has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Labor for workforce training grants. Funding may be available for those currently receiving unemployment benefits.
